NSF Pan American Bioenergy Grant
I along with my Co-PIs Barry Solomn, Kathy Halversen, David Shonnard, and Rick Donovan were just awarded a National Science Foundation Research Coordination Network grant for our proposal to build a Pan American Bioenergy and Biofuels network. The grant is valued at $749,000.000 and will link researchers at Michigan Tech with others across the United States, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina.
We currently have two other related preproposals in to the NSF representing a combined value of $15,000,000 for doing research on bioenergy production and issues related to cultural, economic, and environmental sustainability in Latin America.
